Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Lingolean ("Service"), operated by Leandro Acevedo ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Service Description
Lingolean provides language learning tools, including a German text reader with instant word lookup, grammar analysis, and vocabulary tracking. The Service is available as a web application at app.lingolean.com.
2. Accounts
Some features require a registered account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
3. Free and Premium Plans
Lingolean offers a Free plan with limited usage (2 text analyses per month, up to 500 words per analysis) and a Premium plan (€9/month) with expanded limits and features. Premium subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of your billing period.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service. This includes: attempting to access other users' accounts, reverse-engineering the Service, using the Service for unlawful purposes, or submitting content that infringes on intellectual property rights.
5. Intellectual Property
The Service, its design, features, and content are the property of Leandro Acevedo. You retain ownership of any texts you submit for analysis. We do not claim rights over your content.
6. Payment and Billing
Premium subscriptions are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring monthly charges. Prices are in Euros (EUR). You may manage your subscription and payment methods through the Stripe customer portal.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months prior to the claim.
8. Modifications
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at leandro@lingolean.com.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Berlin, Germany.
